Snow


transforms the garden. When the sun hits and the melt begins, the rowan berries shrivel against the cold, huddling on the end of barren branches like lonely ornaments on a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

I knew snow for my first 26 years. I liked it probably more than I should have.
