The last few weeks, with the arrival of the snow, has come the mysterious appearance of single gloves and mitts on streets and in parking lots. Crumpled, soiled, driven over, trod on, the gloves, poor things, are always alone. Their mates, either tucked in a purse or pocket (I assume this since I've never actually seen anyone wearing only one glove or mitten), will suffer a similar fate, but in a more gentle passing. Maybe they'll be reunited in a landfill...Maybe we all need to put strings on our gloves...like we had on mittens when we were little. Could be a trendsetter.

I'm all for grown-up mitten strings!
Don't need mittens too much here, gloves for the steering wheel on those really chilly days. And nice to have on the running trail early.
Today's captcha "juvue."
Juvue that latest gallery opening? Simply stuning!
LOL @ juvue...I wish I had a something witty to respond with, but, alas, my brain is officially fried...
Parkas, hats, mitts, scarves and waterproof boots - staples of Canadian winterwear. Unless you're a fahionista...in which case it's cashmere jacket, beret, silk scarf, calfskin gloves and gorgeous boots (not made for walking)...
Today I am actually a bit of a fashionista for Austin, a very casual town. Kelly class had their show at school, 3 songs on piano. I'm stylin! Fusnter Fuscia and navy blazer. Wide legged pants.
epreesse. I'll leave that one in your court!
And OMG those Jos Louis cakes. And the Passion Flakies -- but they don't make the caramel filled ones of the latter anymore, so why even bother.
mmmm...passion flakies...I did, for a period of 8 months while pregnant with my middle son become addicted to the raspberry ones...yes...they were perfection...
You're the funster, I'm the junkster...I bought vanilla hostess cupcakes the other day...anything new in the junk department and I've gotta be nosey and check it out.
epreesse - verb: avoiding ironing by quickly grabbing dress shirts from the dryer the instant the drum stops rolling and putting shirts onto hangers.
"I epreessed your shirts, honey, so don't worry about pressing them!"
epresse, so lazy you have your computer do it?
