A new year begins...

A quiet start to the first day of the new year which is exactly how I like it. Time to take a breath and relax...and prepare for what will be a hectic year...and digest the fact that the holidays are officially over and it's time to get back to work. A little easier knowing the daylight hours are slowly expanding and a few months from now the sap will start rising in the trees as Spring makes her always anticipated reappearance on Mother Nature's magical stage.

Took a country drive today and spotted this barn.
