...hieroglyphics

Dark evening wind weeps as
rain meanders down glass panes
casting intricate shadows onto the ceiling

Wow!
I have this image in my head of an invisible hand writing a mystical message.
I think you should consider developing your poem. It has such a potential.

Yes, beautiful. And maybe there is a secret tribe or aliens who can decipher the words. Reminds me the Paul Simon's "Kathy's Song," I hear the drizzle of the rain... A beautiful rain song if veer there was one. And of course YOU know it, cause you know every good song recorded between 1909 to 2009.

Lovely visual! I could see it all and feel and hear the sounds of the rain.

Thank you, Buddha.

Jannie, isn't music the best? I can't imagine not having it in my life.

Thanks, Mark!

I agree, you should consider expanding it... until then, I wish for one of these nights.

Mia, I love those nights when you're so glad to be tucked in bed, safe and warm...

Why did I look at the ceiling when I read that? It must be so good!

Snaggle Tooth, it's like you put on your list of things you love - being warm and dry and watching and listening to the rain outside.
