So, in the spirit of the meme, 7 things I love:

1. I love daisies
2. I love wearing a light Spring jacket for the first time this year and feeling light as a feather
3. I love those short, fuzzy moments when you're just waking up from a really terrific dream and you're in that place between real and imagined...
4. I love toast with peanut butter and butter....how it's just creamy delicious
5. I love the smell of clean dog
6. I love reading a really good book and even though a terrific character dies and you're sad, you welcome the tears
7. I love ham and eggs for dinner (with a side of grilled tomatoes)
And I would love for Jannie of the super fun Jannie Funster blog to share 7 things she adores...as I would really love any of my commenters to participate. It's always interesting to see what people enjoy...

Wow things I love
I know the wife and kids would be a copout so???
1. Kids laughter
2. A smile
3. A day with a bit of a nip and the slight smell of rain.
4. Out so far from the city lights the stars light up the night sky. Generally right after that rain I was talking about.
5. I love chocolate cream drops and a big glass of milk
6. I love to set in the woods and let my thoughts run wild through the leaves.
7. This one might sound silly but I love it when it is so still even my thoughts are at peace.
Ellis, I love your list...especially numbers 6 and 7...that sort of peace is so rare, but so valuable!
I love:
1. Sharing a laugh with my 19 year old daughter
2. Seeing new born calves in the paddock while I write this
3. I love the sound of the crickets and frogs on summer evenings.
4. I love a bath, with bubbles, wine bubbles that is. We are on tank water, so I treat myself a bath after rain.
5. I love rain.
6. I love the smell of the bush after rain
7. I love warm sunshine on my back
I would be humbled and honored to share 7 things I love, thank you.
1. gerber daises the same shrimp-pink as my dining room walls.
2. the smell of good acoustic guitars, the wood is intoxicating
3. Jos Louis cakes!
4. the feel of my satin pillowcase against my cheek as I'm all cozy and drifting to sweet dreams
5. the sound of the blasting water and whirling brushes in the drive-thru carwash
6. my morning coffee, light and slightly sweet
7. the smell of cotton as its ironed.
8. Talon's blog
I love your 7 things Talon, and thank you for such wonderful compliments. Some of your readers touched on other things I love too. The feel of sun on my back, warming my bones and the smell of rain. Oh. And yours...the place in between dream and reality. I want to live there (as long as it's a good dream)!
Brigit, I love the fresh smell after the rain and there's nothing as sweet as sunshine on your back. Laughing with your daughter? That's just perfection! My daughter and I laugh so hard sometimes, we end up aching and crying - lol!
Jannie, I'm cracking up at no 5 - might be time soon for another fix! I love no. 7 too - it's just the smell of goodness!
Mia, the compliments are well deserved. Yes, that waking/dreaming time is wonderful when it's a good dream and horrid when it's a bad one!
You're challenging me again with a list. Okay, here I go. I love...
1. Saturday morning breakfast with any family member at the Lawrenceville Restaurant in Virgil.
2. A weekday breakfast, by myself, at any restaurant with a daily newspaper.
3. Green Tea
4. Steam room after a workout (or minus the workout).
5. A long drive by myself and my ipod.
6. Early morning. Like 4:30-5am.
7. Bookstores.
1 I love when it's so quiet, I can sleep for over 6 hours when I don't have to get up early
2 ...not having to go anywhere all day n staying home playing with art projects.
3 ...when people beg me to play a fav Guitar tune
4 ... when I win some cash on my Lottery ticket
5 ... the sound of heavy rain from inside a cozy, dry room when I don't have to go out in it
6 ... the expanse of open space at the edge of the sea
7 ... when I get to talk to dear old friends again
Ricky, nice list! I haven't tried the Lawrenceville Restaurant, but I'll put it on my list of new places to visit when I'm down your way. Bookstores? Love them! Early mornings? They can be so peaceful and sweet, but I don't see many of them that early.
Snaggle Tooth, so glad you're back on-line! You're so right about that expanse of open space at the edge of the sea - it's so humbling and so inspiring. There is nothing nicer than being tucked inside on a miserable day.
