The beauty at this time of year (you have to ignore tempermental Spring and her capricious nature) is the lack of leaves that allow us to see such delightful colours painting the sky as we did this evening as the sun slid westward...
Images offer timeless insights. Regardless of the season currently experienced by your readers from around the world, peace and tranquility is found in the light.
So serene- gorgeous colour! Cold weather has it's own colors, n feelings. Mostly I see cables n the nieghbor's roof n Dish satelite in the Western sunset colors, so take pics of it elsewhere. Bare tree limbs allow me to see the rising sun n the water at the boat ramp beach from the other kitchen window. Summertime, just a tiny smidge gets thru.
Mama Zen, the colours in nature never cease to amaze me.
Mark, you're welcome. I just love the ease of digital photography.
Liara, the light is definitely a gift.
Snaggle Tooth, it's so true about the different colours depending on season and temperature. Sounds like you have a fabulous view out of the kitchen window at this time of year! Once our trees leaf out, we only see a hints of the sunsets...
Oh yes, and it's those lack of leaves that allow the gorgeous spring flowers to burst forth at the base of many trees, in the great deciduous forests the world over.
(I recently learned that on an educational t.v. show.)

See? Television doesn't completely rot our minds as our parents feared.
