I accepted the challenge

from Joe of the truly enjoyable blog Joey's Pad on his last week's Wardrobe Wednesday post. If you haven't visited Joey's Pad you really should. He's a talented, articulate, and artistic man.

I didn't have the fabulous wardrobe choices like Joe did to come up with the inspiration for my graphics, so I looked around the house and tried to find graphic elements in items around me. And here's what I managed to come up with. I posted before pics with each graphic. What a lot of fun it was creating these! Thanks, Joe.

Oh cool!! I really love your images Talon.

What software program did you use to change the colours? Isn't it amazing what beautiful things we have around us that we can make into art?

Thank you so much for accepting the challenge and doing this. I'm really chuffed, and for the kind words you said about me too.

Later on today I will give a link to your blog on mine. I already have a contribution from someone else too.

Snaggle Tooth, I'd love you to have a go too, there is no time limit on creating works of art. :)

It was fun, Snaggle. Probably spent too much time on it as I'm definitely not a graphic artist, but I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Thank YOU, Joe. I've never played around with images like that and I found this free on-line site
http://fotoflexer.com/
that was so easy to use and so much fun. I enjoyed looking around to find things to photograph that I thought would translate properly.

Way cool. Who knew rubber bands could get so intriguing.

I liked Joey's "kick-arse" stuff too.

You have Photoshop right? You buy it, or is there some free version?

Well done Talon. I think the last one is my favourite but they are all fantastic.

I agree with everything you've said about Joe too and it's nice to "meet" another one of his friends.

Talon -- I loved what you found. They are so cool!! You have so much talent. I always enjoy visiting your site and seeing what new pictures you will share.

I will visit Joey's Pad. If he could get you to create these, his site is definitely worth a visit.

Thanks:~)

Jannie, Joe is very talented.
I don't have photoshop, but I found FotoFlexer - it's free and easy to use.

Oh, the rubber bands are actually a shot of a wicker ball.

Gypsy, lovely to "meet" you, too~!
Thank you! The last one was created after I got more familiar with all the options. It's the top portion of an over-sized metal key I have in a hallway.

Thanks, Mama Zen. It was fun trying to come up with stuff.

Lovely to see you, Sara, and thank you. Joe's blog is great. You'll enjoy his posts.
