Residuals

No blanket of stars sheltering sweet dreams
No moon lighting slumber spaces
No rain singing soft lullabies
No wind whispering night secrets
...only the residue of love soothes me

Shivers!
Amazing feelings you evoke with your verses!
Such a beautiful exposure of the moon! (sigh)
So lucky you are to create this, n feel the love.

Another great photo, but also beautiful words too. Don't you think it's great that we may all live miles apart but we all look at the same moon?

The moon looks so mysterious with the branches superimposed over it. Lovely words and photo. Yes - shivers!

i don't know which is more beautiful--the photo or the poem. :)

Snaggle, thank you! That is, so far, the only decent shot I've ever gotten of the moon - lol!

Joe, me too! I love that the sky encompasses us all.

Lynn, I took that shot up through the trees one misty night. Thank you!

Thank you, Cathy!

Is it the hunter’s moon whispering sweet dreams
of secrets spaces far beyond soft lullabies
Or love that shelters us in its songless residue

Your poems seem to always touch me making my muse
drive me nuts till I reply. I think she idolize your writing.

Ellis, too sweet! I think your muse is patiently waiting for you to have some time and give her proper attention because she misses you.

Sigh...that was so lovely. So many visions came into my mind from so few words.

I came to rest here and found it...wrapped in beauty so fine.

How come everybody else gets here before me all the time?? wah, wah, wah.

:)

I had to just sit a minute or so looking at your new header photo, it's so amazing. I want to run under those trees and fluff up all those leaves. Actually I want to climb up as high as I can up one of those tress and see how far I can see.

Such a great poem, Talon. Consider me soothed. And lifted in love too.

Thank you so much, Cookie.

Jannie, you had much more important things to do - and fun ones, too! Glad you enjoyed it! xxx

Judging or competing? (and I always think of Blue Bunny as a boy...maybe it's the whole "blue" thing?)

I love the blanket of stars. I immediately felt their warmth and security.
