Wow someones been busy with their camera. I love all 3 shots, although I'd be out there with my bug gun getting rid of the dandelion puff ball. ;)

I love beginnings, I could absolutely get lost in the experience of the space in between..it's the endings I am learning to find the beauty in..

Clever post, a joy to see and to be reminded of the endless cycle of life in such a wonderful way.

We came. We saw. We enjoyed the beauty that is life.

Does anyone make a wish anymore and then blow all the fluff off the dandelion puff ball?

There's your caterpillar train! Way cool. We have some creatures here called pecan webworms or armyworms--they come in large battalions, and synchronize their head movements when they sense a hostile presence so that they all, groups in the hundreds, lift their little insect heads and twitch them menacingly back and forth in unison to supposedly scare off birds or whatever--one of the oddest sights you'll ever see. And of course, pretty useless, since they don't bite or anything, but definitely dramatic.

Great pictures, as always. Everything important happens in the space between.

Awesome photos, all - the middle one especially is a remarkable capture. And I love love love the "space between" - that blueness never fails to capture me.

Beautiful pictures. All life has its cycle, doesn't it?

wonderful and I just enjoyed the pause and it made me think.

The morning glory is loving this weather - I do not know if I can contain it as it molests the columbine and hedges - strangling everything else out.

lovely photos and a great eye

Such beauty!
Oh, the beauty!

Dang, army worms. I've seen them take out a whole wheat field. It is said if you put them around the top of a round container that they will follow each other around and around until then die. Don't know for sure. Too grossed out by the little beggars. Still there is that circle of life thing, and your three pictures say it so well.

Wow!!! I love everything about this. The in-between space doesn't get nearly as much respect as beginnings and endings, though it should, imho.

Beautiful..and succinct.
That just about describes you perfectly

VERY nicely done. Loved the observational poetry here.

A lovely visual of cycles. Beautiful shots, my friend.

Beautiful beautiful photos Talon. We have those worm sacks here too, they gross me out but that is a good shot!

That's a wonderful post. I like your idea and your realization of it very much.

I'll take all three. They each have so much to give.

The pictures are beautiful, but then they usually are when I visit your garden!

BTW I am taking your advice and working with my camera...hopefully, you'll see results soon:~)

The Friday flash brought to mind a seahorse... well, I've never been accused of having a -stabile- imagination.

The end: The beginning: The... in between; all in all, The... in
between has influence on both!

Love the photos and thoughts K! _m

I picked an entire bag of dandylion seed heads off my lawn today!
I hate those Northern tent catepillars! I get them on the Trumpet vines usually. Good luck!

Lovely Forget-me-nots! None for me yet-

TALON said...

lol, Joey! That was the only dandelion puffball to survice my hubby's attack and it was standing tall and proud :)

Joy, yes, the endings are the tricky bits for sure.

Hilary, thank you. Yes, everything has its purpose. And the dandelions are prolific here - like fields of sunshine :)

Mandy, thank you so much!

Joan, you're very welcome!

Shay, thank you. I'm fine. I just wish blogger was better behaved!

Lorraine, thank you so much!

ayala, thank you. :)

Thanks so much, Brian! :)

G, I'm glad you came, you saw and you enjoyed :)

Annie, I do :)

hedgewitch, what an image - those on-guard caterpillars! How neat! I like that they are trying their best to marshal the best defence they can.

Ellis, so true and where we stop no one knows. :)

Thank you so much, Sandy!

Ruth, thank you. The forget-me-nots are spectacular this year. Just blue clouds in the beds. I will miss them.

Linda, it's so true, isn't it? Sometimes we forget that, I think.

Patricia, the morning glory wants ALL the glory apparently! Hope you and Zip are having a wonderful week!

Margie, thank you :)

TALON said...

Thank you so much, Sam! I hope all is well and that you've got a ton to smile about today! :)

Leenie, these things seem to come in cycles. We had a few last year, but not too bad and this year I think they're not too bad. These ones were on some city property...don't know if they'll be eradicated or not.

Belinda, thank you. The space between has some beautiful and tragic moments, doesn't it? It's the heart-beat of life, I think.

Thank you so much, Galen. I'm glad you enjoyed :)

Walking Man, thank you so much!

lg, it's funny - I'm never as grossed out by those things when I'm looking through the camera lens, but when I just spy them I sort of shudder - lol! And thank you. Glad you liked the shots :)

Frieda, thank you! :)

Sara, thank you. I know you'll love experimenting and I can't wait to see :)

I like that, D - the way we all see the world through our own eyes and in unique ways. Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed :)

Snaggle, it's an on-going battle (that I leave to hubby - I handle the weeding in the garden beds, he can handle the lawn). Thankfully, those caterpillars were on some city property and there were only two small tents that I could see. None around here, though we had two large tents last year way way up in one of the Black Walnut trees. No way to deal with them, but their damage was minimal...I guess the big trees can handle a small infestation. The forget-me-nots are crazy this year. I guess they're liking the cool and the wet.

although doing the in real life stuff has it's abundance too.. it's just different.

hope you are well, hope you are enjoying the finally arrived nicer weather. I am looking forward to a bit more of a "routine" in the next week or so...sigh...
