Humming an old song, Bob had a memory flash—of a stormy Saturday night when he was ten, creeping downstairs to the kitchen after lights out for a glass of milk and finding his parents dancing. Mom smiling, head snuggled on Dad’s shoulder, Dad crooning in her ear. Bob, smiling too, crept back to bed.

Ron and I had only been together a few days when he turned on the radio in his workshop and took my hand and danced me around the sawdust floor. It was a magic moment and lovely memory. This song brought it all back.
