Fragmented

You tore pieces from the sky
scattering the magic...
the quirk of wind
carried it to the sighing sea
remnants tumbling down…
gossamer threads of enchantment
kissing the whispering waves

Talon,
How lovely imagery of a storm that brings destruction to earth. And a clever use of the 2 images to complete the impact. Beautiful!

oooo- Beautiful sky colors! I like how they are cropped too.

Beautiful thoughts of fragments no one else could have described too!

Even with the pictures i don't see this as a "nature" poem but rather a love style poem of one soothing another.

That sky does look like scattered magic!

Love the bird in the header, too. :)

Your angry jay photo is a keeper. Haha.

Your poem goes so well with the amazing cloudscapes.

That blue jay looks like he was giving a mouthful:~) They are such talkative birds anyway.

It's amazing how you capture visual images in your words while creating such powerful mood. You take nature and make her magically real. I loved "the quirk of wind
carried it to the sighing sea..."

I loved this. BTW your site is like a work of art to me. Each time I arrive; I stop and just look around. It so visually pleasing to the eye.

Wow - those are some amazingly colorful clouds. From reading the poem, it sounds like you've had weather kinda like ours lately. Pretty intense (or pretty and intense!)

Now that is sky blue pink! Beautiful, and the poem makes it a perfectly matched set.

Wow, you really captured the storm visually, and with your words. I am a lover of sky/clouds and especially enjoyed this.
