Intrinsic

Whispers in the dark. Low tones so words were not understood by eavesdroppers. A soothing sound...like when, as a child, you were in your bed and heard voices downstairs...adults sharing secrets not meant for childish ears. These whispers were like those, settling you sweetly to sleep. Murmur of wind through branches—secrets shared between friends.

Talon, it's always so peaceful and tranquil on your blog, you are so in tune with your environs that I'm not so sure that you aren't related to Mother Nature.
Loved your Sylvan Symphony 55
It's so great to have you back
Thanks for this soothing beauty, and have a Kick Ass Week End... G

This piece conveys the peace of distant voices, heard just before giving in to slumber...
The photo matches it perfectly.

I always hear the combo "intrinsic values" rattle thru my head from old classes- n those familiar n trusted murmurs communicate more than just secrets... but I hear them too!

This is a wonderful description of after play, just as two are napping off.

Nice! Oh, how I remember those voices downstairs, settling me sweetly into sleep. To be a child again, and taken care of.... you've captured the feeling so perfectly. Thank you.

Beautiful...when we lived on the boat, I used to love the whispers on the wind as much as I love my children's night-time giggles as they settle into bed.

There are always whispers if you listen, eh? Beautiful 55, Talon, and a striking shot of the moon through the softly conversing trees.

This is so wonderful and peaceful. I love that comparison to the whispers of adults when you were a kid.

I remember listening, trying to decipher the words before I drifted off to sleep. After running and playing outdoors most days, it was hard to stay up very long to actually listen in LOL.

This is a very evocative work Talon, transporting the reader.. nicely done!

PS: Your headers rock!

Well done, Talon. Your words brought a lot of shadowy images and memories to the surface for me.
